Welcome to Neighbourhood Kilns — where creativity comes first and every piece is treated as unique. We offer a flexible, affordable pottery firing experience that’s a little different from the big studios.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pricing. Whether you’re firing a small cup or a larger statement piece, our pricing is fair and based on what you’re actually creating. We keep firing costs lower than mainstream studios because great pottery experiences should be accessible, not overpriced.
Firing times vary depending on size and complexity, but we’ll keep you informed from booking through to pickup, so there are no surprises. We do have a minimum firing load of 2kg, simply to keep things running efficiently.

Notes
We specialize in providing the highest quality bisque and glaze firing services. To ensure the best results, we offer both bisque and glaze firing together as a comprehensive service. We do not offer single glaze firing or accept items that have been bisque fired elsewhere to avoid any potential damage to our kiln and our customers’ items. Our experience has shown that many products are not properly dried or fired elsewhere to meet our high standards. Additionally, to maintain the integrity of our kiln and the quality of our work, we are unable to accept items with glaze on the base, unless they can be properly supported with stilts (if suitable) to ensure flawless results.
Please also note that we only fire to a maximum cone 6 temperatures.
